Goodwill Renton has 3 of everything

Renton scavenging hunt

Goodwill Renton
3210 NE Sunset Blvd. Renton, WA 98056
Always a good place to go hunting the Goodwill store inRenton recently had a lot of semi retro machine, and 2 or 3 of each of them.Prices were  in the $15 area so definitively not too bad, if you don’tspend a lot finding cords or controllers. This store is pretty big, and theirelectronic section is impressive, one of the biggest in the area. They do nothave a specific video game section, so you have to hunt in a couple of aisles.

3 N64s

Commodore 64 +1541,1702,Vic-20, more - $100 in Tukwilla

Good price (not a steal) for a complete system in working order.  Here

Commodore 64 computer with 1541 disk drive, 1702 monitor, C2N cassette drive, joystick, 40+ user-recorded disks with case, and a VIC-20 computer with 5 cartridges and a handful of user-recorded tapes. All of the hardware is clean and has been tested and is working well. Includes necessary power and signal cables to make all of this work, and manuals for all hardware except the monitor. Note that the VIC-20 uses the same power supply & peripherals as the C64 so only 1 set is included.

Seattle Retro Gaming Expo 2012

Well, this year it will be the Bellevue Retro Gaming Expo, but close enough.

At the Red Lion downtown Bellevue (almost), June 16-17. As every year, pre order the pass to get 1 hr early access to the exhibit hall and show floors. Which in the past has proven to be worthless IMHO.

Should be a great place to go to for a couple of hours tough, we don't have much of these in the Seattle area.
