What a CL day

3 interesting adds today on CraigsList

Interesting bit is the 800 XE which was supposedly only available in Europe.

TRS-80, C84, TI 99, Aquarius, etc - $200 (Arlington)

Here are 2 TRS-80 computers, a Tele-video computer, a Texas Instruments 99, an Aquarius computer, 2 Commodore 64's, 3 desk tops one is 166 mhz intel with 32mb ram etc. Oh yes, a Vic 20 as well. there are three monitors and lots of MSDOS discs and manuals. $200 and you have to take it all.

Big Lot of Commodore 64 software - $50 (Tukwila)

Here's a large collection of vintage Commodore 64 software on floppy disk. Approximately 200 disks, all originals. These are all non-game disks: word processors, spreadsheets, educational & financial programs, disk demos, print shop, q-link, etc. Maybe 10% of these have the original manuals, and a few have their boxes as well. I think there are also some manuals with no matching disks in there. Sorry, no list of titles available. Almost 60 pounds of vintage 8-bit goodness. There's lots of duplicates, and given their age I'd be willing to bet some of them don't work anymore, so I've priced the lot at $50 (about 25 cents per disk). You must take it all - no cherry picking. In the Tukwila area.

Atari 800 XE (computer/game system) - $100 (Tacoma)

This Atari is in great condition. It has Missle Command built in, and comes with 6 other games: Bug Hunt, Jungle Hunt, One-on-one (basketball), hardball (baseball), and pole position(racing), flight simulator 2. Comes with keyboard, manuals, and the light gun.

This thing is in excellent condition for being 25 years old (yes, it's an antique). This is any vintage gamer's dream.

$100 firm, please serious offers only.

Magnavox Odyssey Run 1 in Gig Harbor

Spotted a Run 1 Magnavox Odyssey for sale on Craigslist, in Gig Harbor.  $150 (or reasonable trade) , and it comes naked, steeep

Attention all video game collectors who wish to expand your collection with the oldest and rarest of consoles. I have for sale or trade the original video game system ever made for home entertainment released in 1972, 5 years before the Atari 2600. It is extremely rare and a prized possession of mine, but is taking up space. It has both of the original controllers and unit itself. there are no wires however for power or video cable for the tv. i do not have any games either. what you see in the pictures is everything i have. this is a downfall for sure, but its so incredibly hard to find these things that you cannot expect perfection. it is a Run 1, which means it was the first production of this console, which makes it even more rare. it is literally the oldest of old. 340,000 Odysseys were sold between 1972-1975, of those 340,000, only 130,000 were produced in 1972 (RUN1). It has not been tested, but i would have complete confidence that it works when supplied with the correct cords, old video game consoles were built tough and of good quality. if anyone has any questions or would like to offer a reasonable trade, send me a message. thanks for looking. Jeff

There is still hope

I haven't found anything interesting both in term of uniqueness of value on CraigSlist for a while, and today this happened  ....

Free to a good home. 3 complete Amiga computer systems, 1 A3000 with CyberGrafx card, 1 A3000 040 and 1 Amiga 500, all fully working with 1920 monitor for A500 and VGA monitor for A3000. Tons of software and accessories, Kickstart floppies and manuals for everything (huge box). Too many things to list but digitizer pad for A500, DS Sound studio, Scala, Deluxepaint, Imagine, videograbbers, etc. Must take all and haul. Not willing to ship due to total volume and weight involved.

I'll go to bremerton for this.
I'll swim there

Kensington System Saver for my Apple II

Here is something I never got as a kid, and probably would never had spent any money on, but I found them a little common when you find an Apple II for sale somewhere. The "System Saver" is combined cooling fan/surge protector for the Apple II; it became an instant hit with 200,000 units sold.

I am not sure this is really needed in term of cooling (Jobs was a huge fan of fanless, so the machine was designed to work without it, but I like the extra plugs to connect a monitor, one less cable to run to the wall and an easy on off button.

Here some pics of my system saver
